Product for the preparation of cyto-histological samples for optical microscopy. Digestion of histologic sections by means of diastase solution is advisable when the purpose is to remove glycogen in order to observe epithelial neutral mucins. This method is recommended for liver biopsy.

Method:

1) Bring section to distilled water.
2) Bring diastase solution at room temperature.
3) Incubate the section at room temperature for 30 minutes.
4) Rinse the slide in distilled water several times.
5) Stain with P.A.S. reaction.
